Monroe-Woodbury salutes school buses 376, 405 and 451

    Bus 376 takes students to Sacred Heart School in Monroe and is driven by Winnie Massimo (that's her on the left). She describes her charges this way: "The children on my bus are so well-behaved. They are courteous and fun and always respectful to each other and to me. My students never break the rules - they are truly exceptional. It is always a pleasure sending time with them."

    Bus 405 is driven by Bob Warbrick, pictured here in the middle of the photograph with the students he brings to and from Smith Clove Elementary School. He reports: "This is a great group of Kindergarten and first graders. They are a bright, cheerful and happy group which makes driving them enjoyable. Our students get along very well with each other and help each other. These students listen very well to my instructions on safety. They know all the rules for riding the bus and can tell you all the safety rules of the bus. What more could a school bus driver ask for?"
    Bus 405 is driven by Bob Warbrick, pictured here in the middle of the photograph with the students he brings to and from Smith Clove Elementary School. Blasko described her passengers this way: "I can't begin to tell you how wonderful the kids on our bus are. They come on the bus and buckle up their seat belts and are polite and courteous to one another. We have one student that sings to us which makes the ride enjoyable."

CENTRAL VALLEY — The Transportation Department of the Monroe-Woodbury School District regularly recognizes the efforts of its drivers and attendants as part of its nationally recognized safety and training program.

Featured here are the three buses of the month for November:

Bus 376 and driver Winnie Massimo, who brings students to and from the Sacred Heart School in Monroe.

Bus 405 and driver Bob Warbrick, who delivers children to and from Smith Clove Elementary School.

Bus 451 driver Kathy Blasko and attendant Madeline Diede, whose route is to and from the BOCES facility in Goshen.
