Monroe Temple and St. Patrick’s Church partnering to collect school supplies for needy M-W students
MONROE — The Monroe Temple’s Social Action Committee is partnering up with St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Highland Mills to collect school supplies for needy children in the Monroe-Woodbury School District.
The supplies can be brought to Monroe Temple though Monday, July 1. All donations should be labeled as school supply donations.
The list of items is extensive and includes anything tied to school supplies, including: binders, backpacks, crayons, pencils, glue sticks, scissors, notebooks and even Ziploc bags and tissues.
Both the temple and church will organize the donations to give to needy students for the forthcoming school year.
To learn more, get a full list of what’s needed or to make arrangements for donation drop-offs, call the temple at 783-2626.
