On a hot Saturday morning, Aug. 22, there was a protest march against human trafficking held by the Mill Ponds in Monroe.
The protesters, led by Kristin Koch, assembled in the commuter lot on Millpond Parkway and worked their way around the ponds with their signs, drawing waves and honks of encouragement from the passing motorists on Route 17M.
S.T.O.M.P. stands for Stop Trafficking Of Minors and Pedophilia. The movement works to bring awareness and to stop this horrible problem.
