Monroe Realtor named Weichert manager of the year

MONROE — Weichert, Realtors has named Lydia Veszelovits-Hendricks of the Monroe office its Manager of the Year for the region. The award honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional management skills and led their office to achieve outstanding results in 2012.

“This distinction recognizes Lydia’s management ability and dedication to see her office succeed,” said Jo-Ellen Ashby, regional vice president for Weichert, Realtors. “She understands the needs of her sales associates and is committed to providing the support and tools for them to remain productive and valuable to clients.”

Veszelovits-Hendricks joined Weichert in 2000 as a sales associate and then went on to assume the position of executive recruiting assistant to the regional vice president. In this role Veszelovits-Hendricks was instrumental in recruiting more than 30 new sales associates and showed her management skills in the organization and implementation of numerous office meetings and training sessions planned for the region’s managers and sales associates.

Veszelovits-Hendricks is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Monroe office which provides real estate services to clients in Ulster, Dutchess, Orange and Greene counties.

In 2012, she and her Monroe sales team helped numerous families and individuals realize their dreams of homeownership by providing informed sales associates, customized marketing plans and offering clients financial and moving-related assistance.
