With a growing need to help locals who take care of feral cat colonies, a group of Monroe-Woodbury Middle School students decided to take action. These students repurposed large Styrofoam shipping coolers and transformed them into insulated shelters for feral cats.
The students who donated their time and energy to this important community effort are Crisalby Fermin, Megan McInerney, Bianca Mangonon, Kelly Imhof, Matthew Gorlin, Rehan Kahn, Claudia Fuentes Ramirez and Justin Sanchez.
