Simultaneously at 5:30 p.m., the Empty Bowls project will begin. Students and staff have created ceramic bowls and then serve a simple meal. Guests choose a bowl to use that day and to keep as a reminder that there are always empty bowls in the world.
In exchange for a meal (ice cream) and the bowl, the guests give a suggested donation of $10. The proceeds will go to a The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. This project is a collaboration between the Art Department and Art Guild.
