Keep the trail clean, please

Dear Village of Monroe:

How many of you walked down the trail and observed the garbage along both sides of the grass? The county has been cleaning the trail, however, the grass is owned by the village and the condition is overwhelming – including some neighborhoods looking the same.

Maybe if we all can encourage our neighbors and the newest persons of our village to clean up after themselves, our village can return to the clean village we knew a year ago (i.e. clean up after your dog).

Garbage cans could be helpful.
