John P. Burke Memorial Committee to host pasta dinner on Nov. 1

HIGHLAND MILLS — The John P. Burke Memorial Committee's first fund raiser -a pasta dinner - will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Highland Mills Firehouse/Village Hall.

Each ticket costs $10 and advanced sales are available at the Woodbury Town Clerk’s Office.

Tickets will also be sold at the door and “to go” meals are available as well.

Funds are being raised to place a memorial at the Central Valley Pool to honor Supervisor John P. Burke, who passed away on July 29, 2014, and to award a scholarship to a Woodbury resident.

• In the memo field, please indicate it is for the John P. Burke Memorial Fund and checks can be made payable to the Town of Woodbury.
