TUXEDO — The 28 members of the George F. Baker High School Class of 2016 stood on the front steps of the school on June 23 to receive graduation honors and accolades from faculty, Board of Education members and administration.
Red and white were the colors of the day, with special messages of thanks and pronouncements of college/university names visible on many students’ mortar boards.
Speeches by faculty and students marked the occasion but Ron Juance’s specially written rap song called “This is my” was a highlight of the evening. To watch his performance, visit Baker’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TuxedoHS/?fref=ts.
Congratulations and best wishes to the Baker graduates they continue on life’s journey.
