Orange County School of Dance’s Little Feet Dance Company represented the Monroe area in the first Orange County Arts Council Celebration of Dance on Sunday, April 29, at the Paramount Theater in Middletown. Eighteen studios participated in the performance. The company performed “Big Business,” a modern pointe piece expressing frustration at the day-to-day grind of modern life, and “Maureen” dedicated to the memory of Eileen and Maureen Slawinski. Eileen was a teacher at O.C. School of Dance for over ten years and passed away this January. Students who participated were Rebecca Birmingham, Gaby Formale, Ashlee Pintos, Roxanne Susskind, Rebecca Warnock and Maria Weyant.
