College notes
GraduationsEmily Bacher, Monroe-Woodbury class of 2011, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College. She had a 3.7 GPA and majored in Psychology.
She will attend Marist College in the fall, working toward her Masters in School Psychology.
Nicholas Salvatore Mancuso of Highland Millshas been awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.
Alexandra Pereira, a 2011 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury, recently graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Studies and a minor in Sociology. Pereira was also named to the Dean’s List maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
President’s ListKenneth Fee, a junior from Monroe, was named to the President’s List for the spring 2015 semester at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass.
To qualify, a full-time student must have a grade point average of 3.7 or higher with no course grade below 3.0 during the term.
The following students were named to the President’s List for the spring 2015 semester at the State University of New York at Geneseo:

Eric Buchanan of Central Valley.
To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0 grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.
Dean’s listRyan John Fischer of Monroe has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2015 semester at Herkimer College.
To qualify, a student must earn a grade point average between 3.25 and 3.79.
Ryan is a Physical Education major.
Ashley Crover of Harriman was named to the Dean’s List for the spring Semester at the State University of New York at Albany.
Ashley is the daughter of Jennifer Crover of Harriman and Ken Lungren of Monroe.
She is studying psychology.
Deirdra O’Boyle of Monroe, 2014 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School, was named to the Dean’s List at Hunter College in Manhattan with a GPA of 3.54.
She is also honored to be the recipient of the 2014 Tommy Dowd Memorial Foundation Scholarship.
Corianna L. DeLisi of Monroe has been named to the Dean’s List at Western New England in Springfield, Mass.
Students are named to the Dean’s List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
Corinanna is working toward a degree in Biomedical Engineering.

The Dean’s List is comprised of those full-time students not on academic probation who achieved at least a 3.0 quality point average (QPA) over the course of the semester, as well as all part-time students who maintained at least a 3.0 QPA while completing their most recent full-time equivalent semester (considered to be 12 combined credits over the course of two or more semesters) during the fall.
Honors, awards, programsThe following students were among the 79 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes to earn a spot on the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Academic Team for the Spring 2015 semester:
Christine Schofield of Monroe, a senior member of the SUNY Potsdam Equestrian team.
Brad Campagna of Monroe, a junior member of the SUNY Potsdam Men’s Ice Hockey team. He also was one of 46 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes to earn a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner’s List for the spring semester.
Players named to the all-academic team posted a minimum 3.3 GPA during the semester.
