Bear Cubs meet Tomas, the Golden Retriever
| 09 May 2016 | 04:48
The Bear Cub Scouts Pack 340 recently visited Monroe Animal Hospital & Pet Wellness Center to get a tour and have a Q&A with Dr. Lonnie H. Kasman. They also donated more than 50 pounds of dog food and five pounds of cat food to the Stuart Little Pet Pantry which provides food to animals whose families may be experiencing some financial difficulties. The scouts - third graders Justice Worthington, Darrell Terio, Matthew Lowe, Jacob Ciriello, Weston Cupak and Peyton Kmetz - also had a book reading with Tomas, the wellness center's resident therapy dog who is part of the center's reading program for children to practice reading with the comfort of this Golden Retriever.
