At issue: The future of career and technical education

Business Educators Association of the Mid-Hudson officers Jayme Stofko (secretary), Elisabeth Hellwege (president), Lynne Gates (treasurer) and Pat Phalen (vice president) are pictured with Dr. Keith E. Babuszczak, a field team associate with the Southern New York State Career Technical Assistance Center. Babuszczak gave a presentation to BEAM members on the future of Career and Technical Education in New York at a dinner at Cosimo’s in Central Valley that was hosted by The College of Westchester. About 20 business teachers from local districts in the Mid-Hudson attended. Gates and Hellwege are business teachers at Monroe-Woodbury High School, where Gates is the chairperson for the department.
