    — A.J. Ross Creative Media has been named to spearhead the marketing communications program for The Council of Industry.
A.J. Ross will work with the council to develop the necessary marketing materials to create a dynamic campaign across a variety of mediums, with the goal of creating awareness and driving traffic to the council’s website and programs. The agency has produced marketing communications for other manufacturers and industrial companies including Motion Labs, Lab Synergy, Spence Engineering, Fontaine Lumber and NicePak.
“Over the next year, A.J. Ross looks forward to working with The Council of Industry to promote the Apprentice Program and Applicant Tracker System,” said agency president Allan Ross. “These tools enable Hudson Valley manufacturers to match open job positions with potential employees.”
Based in Newburgh, The Council of Industry has been the premier manufacturer’s association for the Hudson Valley since 1910. A privately funded, not-for-profit organization, the council’s mission is to promote the success of its member firms and their employees, and through them contribute to the growth of the entire Hudson Valley manufacturing community.
The council provides its members with tools to succeed, including training programs, workforce development, networking, survey data and events. In addition, it helps manufacturers attract qualified applicants for positions at all organizational levels.
“We are looking forward to working with A.J. Ross on this important initiative,” said Harold King, executive vice president of the Council of Industry. “They are a very creative firm with deep roots in the Hudson Valley and a clear understanding of the importance of the manufacturing sector and economic development. We know they can help us with solutions to this difficult workforce challenge. “
