Library's free 'By the Millpond' available at 50 retail locations

Monroe — The Monroe Free Library’s free “By the Millpond” newsletter is the largest its ever been, according to library officials, and contains the most material it has had to date. Half of the content is devoted to material for children and includes recipes, crafts and puzzles developed for young readers/crafters. The adult component, officials said, has grown in scope with contributions by library staff and trustees. Material includes information about the library, news articles, personal stories, poetry and columns from the Monroe business community as well as paid advertising from businesses in Monroe and Harriman. The newsletter/magazine is available at more than 50 retail locations in Monroe and Harriman and at the library’s circulation desk. Call 783-4411 to learn more.
