Library is ‘valuable community asset'

To the editor: As a person continually involved in research for my documentary films, photos and presentations as a part-time interpreter at Monroe’s Museum Village, I am constantly in the Monroe Library. Presently I am concluding another project and want to express my thanks and appreciation to the library staff. They are knowledgeable and caring people. As a regular visitor I have observed the wide range of services provided to the community, from the story time for little folks to the computer classes for all ages. Their services go far beyond the expected books, films and magazines one usually associates with libraries. There’s no doubt that the Monroe Library is a valuable community asset. The dedicated staff is the prime ingredient in its services. Again, many thanks for their aid in my most recent project. Warren Lowey Monroe
