Library association gets state grant

MONROEThe Orange Library Association has been awarded a $5,000 grant from state Sen. William J. Larkin Jr. for the purpose of launching a Web site. The association is a not-for-profit group that promotes libraries and raises public awareness about library services in Orange County. Membership is open to library staff, trustees, and the public from the county's 17 public libraries. To join the Orange Library Association, fill out a membership form at the Monroe Free Library or call 783-4411.
