Larkin endorses Caruso legislative bid
To the editor: It is with great pride and confidence that I endorse Ralph Caruso for Orange County legislator for the 14th District, which covers the towns of Highlands and Woodbury. I have known Ralph personally for 27 years, and he has been my special assistant for more than 12 years. He represents me at meetings and conferences, speaking on my behalf, where his keen ability in dealing with officials at all levels of government is quite evident. His expertise and knowledge is valuable in a wide range of venues. Ralph has a vast background in local government, having served as a councilman, Zoning Board of Appeals chairman, member of the Board of Police Commissioners, Architectural Review Board, Board of Health and a member of the Orange County Human Rights Commission, to mention a few. He is an authority on county and local governments and is my liaison to those within my senatorial district. Ralph routinely collaborates with county executives, town supervisors and village mayors to assist them in their state-related needs and to lend guidance when requested. The residents of the town of Highlands and the town of Woodbury have a unique opportunity to select Ralph Caruso as their Orange County legislator, knowing when he is elected they will have a person who will fight for them without question, with commitment, loyalty and dedication. Please remember to vote on Election Day, Nov. 8, and please vote for Ralph Caruso. William J. Larkin Jr. New York State Senator Cornwall-on-Hudson
