Kiesel makes her case for Monroe town clerk

To the editor: My name is Cristina Kiesel, and I am running for the position of town clerk in Monroe. Monroe has been my home for the past nine years and I think it is a great place to live and raise a family. I decided to run for town clerk because I’ve been actively involved in better quality of life issues. Having 15 years of experience in the field of administration in a supervisory capacity makes me very well-suited for the position. My business background, combined with diligent attendance at town board meetings, makes me an ideal candidate. I would like to make a difference being a voice for the community. If elected, my mission would be to provide top-notch, professional customer service to the residents and to bring important issues to the attention of town government. I plan to build upon and enhance the current operations and I look forward to the opportunity of being able to directly interact with the public on a daily basis. One of my first priorities upon taking office would be to make it easier for Monroe residents to access the town’s resources and to bring everything up to date with the latest technology. I want to be a voice and strong advocate for the community while serving as town clerk. I strongly believe that the town will benefit from having someone in the position that is not part of the current political system. I am proud to be a running mate of SaveMonroe candidates Bob Purdy, Kathy Parrella and Theresa Budich and hope you will come out on Nov. 8 and vote for us on Row D. Sincerely, Cristina Kiesel Monroe
