Kate's locks

Before the cut-Kate Kunak, a fifth grader at North Main Elementary, is active in fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Let’s Help Fight Cancer” program, so it was natural for her to donate hair to Locks of Love. After the cut-Kate Kunak was able to donate 11 inches of hair to Locks of Love, with the help of hairdresser June Danielson of Sister Act on Stage Road in Monroe. Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. For more information, visit www.locksoflove.org.
