It's time to move on'
To the editor: I never write letters regarding politics but I had to this time. I'm responding to the letter by K.J. Walters saying Katrina is Bush's 9/11. Comparing the two is absurd. I lost a cousin and friend on Sept. 11 with no warning. I also have a relative in New Orleans who we just found out is okay because she left when she was told to go. You can't blame the president for everything just because of a political view. People in New Orleans were told to leave and if they stayed, it was a choice they made. I think it's time to stop pointing fingers. Soon you will blame Bush if your alarm clock doesn't work or your car doesn't start. I have a feeling K J Walters wasn't writing letters when Clinton was president. I think it's time to move on. Timothy McPhillips Monroe
