Harriman Army-Navy goes formal

Harriman - The Harriman Clothing Co., located on Route 17M in Harriman, has added an expanded dress salon to cater to women of any age, taste and size for all types of special occasions. Owners Madelyn Goldberg and Jennifer Carrillo say whether a customer is looking for an informal to very formal dress, “you need look no further.” The new salon features an array of prom dresses in a wide variety of styles and colors. Dresses for Bar-Mitzvah’s, Sweet 16’s, Communion and school dances also are available. The store’s highly trained staff also will outfit you from head to toe with just the right shoes, jewelry, handbag and some good advice - should you ask, Goldberg and Carrillo add. The owners also note that the dress salon has many styles, colors and fabrics to choose from with something to meet every taste level and to flatter every figure type, for all types of weddings. That includes outfits for the mother of the bride or groom, bridesmaid’s dresses, in traditional and not so traditional styles and colors, as well as junior bridesmaid and dresses for the flower girl. Goldberg and Carrillo emphasized that what they also offer is knowledgeable service, attention to every detail as well as expert alterations to make every dress fit perfectly. Their mission is to make shopping a truly wonderful experience. Harriman Clothing Co. is fondly known to the local community as the Army-Navy Store.
