Monroe resident Lea Gross shows the hair cut by stylist Mary White, which Lea has donated to the Childhood Leukemia Foundation in Brick, N.J. Lea was born in Vinh Phuc, Vietnam with the Vietnamese name “Huyen,” meaning “fresh air, having a reflective black color or jet black.” Her family traveled to Hanoi to adopt her in March 2001 at age four months. “Lea was thrilled to donate her hair to help anyone who might be in need of a hair piece,” said her mother Adria Goldman Gross. “Lea enjoys making a difference in someone else’s life and to help them cope with any serious illness or misfortune.” To learn more, call 732-920-8860.
