End of an era

St. David’s Episcopal Church on Route 32 in Highland Mills will be shutting its doors after nearly a century in Highland Mills next week. The congregation will hold its final service on Tuesday evening, Nov. 16. Any time a church or other long-lived institution closes, a piece of history goes away and the community is diminished. A story about the church, its members and its history will appear in a future edition of The Photo News.
