NEW WINDSOR — The Tribute to Women of Achievement of Orange County is seeking nominations for its 15th annual awards. Women ages 16 and up who live, work or go to school in the county are eligible for the award, which will be given in the categories of arts, business, communications, education, health care, human services, professions, and public service. A special category is the Bobbie A. Lahey Memorial Award for Volunteer Services for a woman who donates services to the county. It was named for the late Barbara “Bobbi” Lahey of New Windsor, a longtime board member of the YWCA who helped to found the Tribute. Awards will be given at a dinner May 10 at Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor, a fundraiser for the Sarah Wells Girl Scout Council.
