Diana Petrosky earns Mid-Hudson School Study Council honors

Tuxedo — Tuxedo School District Board member Diana Petrosky was honored at for her school board excellence and her years of school board service during a recent Mid-Hudson School Study Council dinner. Petrosky has been a Tuxedo board member for the past 10 years. Serving as board vice president for nine years, she is also vice president of the Orange County School Boards Association and a recipient of NYSSBA’s Master of Boardsmanship Award. Nominated by the late State Sen. Thomas Morahan, Petrosky was named a Woman of Distinction Award by the New York State Senate in 2005. Officials said Petrosky is well-known for her support of educational programs and her advocacy for at-risk and under-privileged students.
