Destination: Bahamas

Highland Mills — Katie Ford has been selected as one of 14 teen girls from all over the United States to participate in Girl Scout’s Studio 2B’s “Destinations.” The girls will fly to Miami, board the schooner “Eagle” and learn to sail, navigate, snorkel, and camp on several Bahamian islands for a two-week adventure. In addition to travel, Ford is interested in music of all sorts, singing with the chorus, playing piano, and performing in the Monroe-Woodbury High School spring musical, “Fiddler on the Roof.” Studio 2B was developed by Girl Scouts for teen girls, to help them become the best they can be while helping them expand their interests and talents.
