Dems are candidates ‘with answers'

To the editor: As a resident of Monroe for 50 years, I have seen Monroe change from a rural community to the bustling suburb that it has become. While some of these changes have been positive, many have resulted in over-development, traffic congestion, inadequate services and higher taxes and a deterioration of our quality of life. The actions and inactions of the present Town Board have brought us to where we are today. The Democratic Party has chosen three highly qualified candidates, Alicia Vaccaro for Town Supervisor, and Audra Schwartz and John Rios for Town Board. Vaccaro, Schwartz and Rios have convinced me of their ability and dedication to provide real solutions to the problems facing Monroe. The Democratic Primary demonstrated that when given a choice, voters prefer candidates with real answers. It will take all voters, Republicans, Democrats and independents to unseat the present administration. I urge all of you to support Vaccaro, Schwartz and Rios in November. I have no doubt that they are not only the best choice, but the only real choice for saving Monroe. Thank you, Mary W. Wibiralske Monroe
