Dancing for dollars

Monroe —The Social Action and Continuing Education committees of the Monroe Temple of Liberal Judaism are sponsoring an Argentine tango dance instruction night, led by Walter and Marilynne Kane, on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. For an $18 donation, participants will learn to tango and also help the Jews of Argentina. Nearly 60,000 Jews are living below the poverty line in Argentina, home of the largest Jewish community in Latin America. Argentine wine and cheese will be served. For reservations, call 783-2626.
