Conklin Memorial Award recipient

Stony Point Police Officer Theresa A. Roberts graduated from the Rockland County Police Academy on July 24 and received the Police Officer Jason D. Conklin Memorial Award. The award is given to the cadet who best personifies Jason's character and motivation. Roberts also received a $500 savings bond from the Police Officer Jason D. Conklin Memorial Scholarship Fund, which was established in memory of Conklin, a Tuxedo Park Police officer who died in the line of duty in 1997.
