commemorating human rights day

In recognition of Human Rights Day, the Orange County Human Rights Commission accepted a citation from Assemblywoman Aileen Gunter. Gathering were Orange County Human Rights Commission Chairperson Nolly Climes, Angel Figueroa and Fred Cook along with Susan Varden, human rights assistant. A previous citation proclaiming and acknowledging the recognition of Dec. 10 as Human Rights Day in Orange County was voted on by the Orange County Legislature and presented to the Orange County Human Rights Commission by County Executive Ed Diana on Dec. 2.
