College notes

Dean’s list Kate Zaleski of Monroe, a senior therapeutic recreation major at Ithaca College, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester. She is the daughter of Kerrie Hannon of Monroe and Larry Zaleski. Justin Accetturi, a member of the Monroe-Woodbury Class of 2009,was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at East Stroudsburg University with a GPA of 3.8. He is a sophomore majoring in criminal justice. The following students were named to the dean’s list for the 2010 fall semester at State University of New York at Geneseo: Kristin Hauser from Highland Mills. Sarah Birnberg from Tuxedo Park. To qualify, a student must have achieved a 3.5 grade point average while taking at least 12 credit hours. The following students received academic honors from Berkeley College: Lorraine Betancourt of Monroe was named to the president’s list. Iryna Danchak of Monroe was named to the dean’s list. Justin Fernandez of Monroe was named to the dean’s list. Lauren Perraglia of Harriman was named to the dean’s list.
