Graduations Angela Palaggi of Highland Mills graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre during commencement ceremonies in May at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa. Kevin McDonnell of Monroe has graduated Cum Laude from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a double major in Sport Management and Marketing. Samantha Nicole Kelly of Monroe has graduated from Mount Saint Mary College with a bachelor of science degree in Nursing. She is a 2007 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School. The following students have graduated from the University at Connecticut at Storrs: Brittany Lynn Zenner of Harriman, Bachelor of Arts. John William Giametta of Highland Mills, Bachelor of Science. Kevin Michael Donovan of Monroe, Bachelor of Arts. Joseph Salamone of Monroe has graduated Mercy College Cumma Cum Laude and with business department honors. Nicole Salamone of Monroe has graduated Rockland Community College with grade point average of more than 3.6 during her senior year. Her art work also was displayed in the college magazine Both are Monroe-Woodbury High School graduates. Dean’s list Kavita Singh of Harriman has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester from the College of Business Administration at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. A 2007 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School, Kavita is the daughter of Ken and Judy Singh of Harriman. Gretchen Sachse of Highland Mills has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester at Nazareth College in Rochester. She is a sophomore studying music. A student’s grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and she must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean’s list at Nazareth. Alexander Hieronymi of Monroe has been named to the dean’s list for both fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J. The University of Connecticut recently announced that the following students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester: Brittany Lynn Zenner of Harriman. Kevin Andrew Braghirol of Monroe. Erik James Kopping of Monroe. To qualify, students must be taking at least 12 credits, finish the semester with a grade point average that is among the top 25 percent of students enrolled in their school or college, and have no grade below a “C.”
