Chan is ‘most qualified'

To the editor: Wayne Chan, a longtime resident of Monroe, is the most qualified candidate for Village of Monroe trustee. Wayne is committed to volunteer service in the community, having been the president of the Monroe Volunteer Ambulance Corps for many years and currently serving on the Ambulance Corps Board of Directors, as well as the Village of Monroe Zoning Board of Appeals. I have known Wayne for several years and have acquired respect and admiration for his generosity, intelligence and selfless dedication to the residents of Monroe. I have complete confidence that Wayne is genuinely concerned and that he will work tirelessly as a trustee to preserve the unique character and long term interests of the Village of Monroe. Please vote for Wayne and his running mates Jeff Peifer and Jim Purcell on March 21. Scott Berger Monroe
