Chan is ‘honest, straight-forward, reliable'

To the editor: I would like to tell you about Wayne Chan, who is a candidate for village trustee. He is a quiet man who is able to “move mountains” and do what others see to be impossible. Wayne has the ability to get people to consider his point of view; he is a “people person.” He is an active member of the Monroe Volunteer Ambulance Corps and a member of the organization’s Executive Board. Wayne served as the corps president for seven years, and under his direction, the Ambulance Corps was able to keep pace with the incredible growth in population, maintain quality service and move forward with plans for a new, much-needed building. Wayne stepped down as president because he wanted to be able to give 100 percent in his position as committee chairman. He refuses to give anything but 100 percent to every job he takes on. Wayne has been an active member of our community for more than 16 years. He is a devoted husband and father, and a wonderful neighbor who truly cares about our community. He currently holds a seat on the Zoning Board of Appeals because he wants to make a difference in our community. Wayne Chan is one of the most honest, straight-forward, hard-working and reliable people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. His business expertise, human relations skills and his love and pride for the community we live in will serve our growing community well. Please remember to vote on March 21. Wayne Chan for village trustee will keep Monroe on track and headed in the right direction. Donna Minicucci Monroe
