Chalk Night at the library

| 22 Feb 2012 | 06:43

This Friday, June 24, families are invited to use the Monroe Free Library’s chalk to leave their mark on history - or at least all over the parking lot. The library is kicking off the summer with Chalk Night, one of its most popular annual events. Kids are invited to drop in between 6 and 7:30 p.m. to make sidewalk masterpieces in the sunshine. School-age children can also sign up Friday night for the library’s Summer Reading Program, in which they can win prizes for reading books. Summer reading is free, but requires registration. Call 783-4411.
