Cancer center opens infusion suite

Newburgh — St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital’s Littman Cancer Center recently cut the ribbon on its new 3,500-square-foot infusion suite. The suite is a cornerstone of the cancer program, which also features extensive radiation oncology services through an affiliation with Cornwall Radiation Oncology Services, patient navigation and support services. It includes ten infusion chairs and a treatment bed, as well as individual televisions for the comfort of the patient. A volunteer “cancer concierge” is on hand to help meet the needs of patients and families.
