    Orange Regional Medical Center offers free mammograms Middletown — Orange Regional Medical Center will host free breast cancer screenings on Saturday, March 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ray W. Moody, M.D. Breast Center located at the Orange Regional Medical Pavilion, 75 Crystal Run Road in Middletown. Appointments are limited and must be made by Friday, March 4. Pre-registration is required. (Snow day will be March 12.) The hour-long screening will include a clinical breast exam, mammography and breast health education and training. The screening is open to women with and without health insurance. Participants of the screening must be over 40 years of age, under 40 with a high risk of breast cancer/first degree relative family history of breast cancer and must not have a primary-care physician and have not had a mammogram within a year’s time. Computer-animated video shows new hospital MIDDLETOWN — Orange Regional Medical Center has created a computer animated video of its new hospital currently under construction. The video is just under five minutes long and provides a highly accurate view of what the new hospital will look like when it opens its doors in third quarter of this year, according to officials. Once complete, the hospital will consolidate its two existing campuses, Arden Hill in Goshen and Horton in Middeltown into the new 600,000 plus square foot facility on 61 acres. It will be the first new freestanding hospital built in the New York in more than 20 years.
