Bob Bonney scholars

2004 Bob Bonney Foundation scholarship winners included, John Efiner from John S. Burke High School, and from Monroe-Woodbury High School Meghan Summers, Alex Fierro, Christina Chiappetta, Jessica Blain and Samantha Blain, both from Monroe-Woodbury High School. The foundation honors the memory of the late mayor of Monroe who died while shoveling snow for a neighbor who was out-of-town. Mayor Bonney was the inspiration for Monroe's Cheese Fest, which is now in its 10th year.
