Blood drives scheduled in Orange County this month
GOSHEN - A series of blood drives are planned for the remainder of May in Orange County. On Friday, May 7, Monroe Wal Mart will be conducting a blood drive from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Call 294-3362. On Thursday, May 13, Groo's Shoes, in coordination with Dr. Michael Wodka's radio program "Health Matters" on 1110am WTBQ, will hold a blood drive at 505 Schutt Road (next to Price Chopper) in Middletown, from noon to 5 p.m. Call 294-7649. On Saturday, May 15, Amity Presbyterian Church will host a blood drive in conjunction with the annual church garage & bake sale at 103 Newport Bridge Road in Warwick from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Saturday, May 15, The Otisville Mount Hope Ambulance Corp is hosting a blood drive in conjunction with the Community Safety Day at the Firehouse at 60 State Street in Otisville from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Monday, May 17, Gold's Gym in Middletown will be hosting a blood drive at 15 Industrial Drive in Middletown from 4 to 8 p.m. On Saturday, May 22, the Ancient Order of Hibernians will be hosting a blood drive in conjunction with Mt. Carmel Church at 90 Euclid Avenue in Middletown from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Saturday, May 22, the American Legion Ambulance Service will be hosting a blood drive in conjunction with their Open House at 17 Collins Road in Eldred from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m On Wednesday, May 26, The YWCA will be hosting a blood drive in conjunction with the senior health day at 565 Union Avenue in New Windsor from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For information about sponsoring a blood drive call Teresa Ferguson at 294-7649.
