Block Rosary petitions for world peace

Monroe — The Block Rosary for the Monroe-Harriman area during the month of December, in petition for world peace, will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Blue Army Cadet Sodality will be offered the second Thursday and the first Saturday on the month. On Mondays at 4:30 p.m., the rosary will alternate between Irene Schweiger at 133 West Mombasha Road, and Dorothy Klueber at 34 Stonewall Road, in Monroe. On Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m., the rosary will be hosted by Marie Vasseur at 49 Hillside Terrace. On Thursdays at 8 p.m., the rosary will be hosted by Thomasina Hogan at 15 Barnett Drive, Apt. 3G, in Monroe. Blue Army Cadet Sodality will be held at Sacred Heart Chapel Hall on Still Road in Monroe from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month, and following the 9 a.m. mass on the first Saturday of the month.
