Bank appoints regional vice president

MONTEBELLO—Linda LeMond has been named vice president for the southern region at Provident Bank. From the bank's corporate headquarters in Montebello, she will direct and manage consumer and small business sales and service, and all operations in Rockland, Putnam, and Bergen counties. LeMond joined Provident Bank in 1989 as the branch business manager of the bank's Orangeburg location. Most recently, she served as vice president and corporate relationship manager for the bank. The Monroe native began her career at the Broadway Bank & Trust in 1986, where she served as branch manager of the bank's Midland Park location in New Jersey. LeMond attended the University of Bridgeport and William Paterson College, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in business and economics, and the National School of Banking.
