10th annual American Cancer Society walk begins Sunday at Woodbury Common

    CENTRAL VALLEY - This year, 14,430 New York State women will be diagnosed with the disease, and Sunday, Oct. 16, thousands of Hudson Valley residents are going to do something about it. Families, friends and co-workers from across the area will converge in Woodbury Common Premium Outlets to raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. Proceeds go to support the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer research, education, advocacy and patient service programs. The event is a 5-K, non-competitive walk to raise awareness and proceeds for the fight against breast cancer.
