Vincenza 'Vee' Camardella

    Vincenza Camardella, affectionately known as “Vee, passed away peacefully at her home in Monroe on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017. She was 98 years old.
    The daughter of Ciro and Rosina Zeccola Manniello, she was born March 10, 1919, in New York City.
    Vee was a retired clerical worker with Parker Distributors of Hopewell Junction and was the widow of Dominick Camardella, who predeceased her in 1988.
    Vee lovingly leaves behind her daughters: Carole Ferrara and her husband Bob of Monroe and Linda Sepe and her husband Gerry of Austin, Texas; her son Frank Camardella and his wife Maggy of Queens; her sisters Rosalie “Josie” Cherubino of Lincoln Park, N.J., and Mary Onofrietti of Howell, N.J.; her five grandchildren: Vincent, Karen, J.R. and his wife Denise, Adrienne and her husband Jacob, and Diana and her husband Robbie; her great-grandchildren: Isabella and Gavin; and many nieces and nephews.
    In addition to her husband, Vee was predeceased by her brother Anthony “Sonny” Manniello.
    Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
    A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe.
    Entombment will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
