Santa Santangelo

Santa Santangelo, 91, of Monroe, entered into rest on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern.
Santa was born Oct. 19, 1927, in New York City, the daughter of Giacomo and Nancy Laterva.
She is survived by her husband Joseph; her daughter Jeanice and son-in-law Mark; her son Charles and daughter-in-law Joagnes; son James and daughter-in-law Amy; as well as by her siblings Peter and Vivian, her nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, and her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Dec. 9 at the Donovan Funeral Home in Goshen.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Dec. 10 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church in Goshen, with the Rev. Anthony Giaconna officiating.
Burial followed in St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman.
