Rosalie E. Terranova of Monroe, a 57-year area resident, died on Friday, June 30, 2017, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 79.
The daughter of Frederick and Catherine Sorrentino, she was born in New York in 1938.
She was the pre-deceased by her husband, Charles Terranova, in 2012.
Survivors include her daughters, Dawn Duggan of Chester, Carla Terranova of Warwick, Cathy Ilardi of Campbell Hall and Debra Terranova of Monroe; sister, Madeline Meluso of Brooklyn: and three grandchildren: Sophia, Joseph and Gianna.
Rosalie’s passion was cooking Italian food for her family and friends. On any given Sunday, you could go to her home and enjoy eggplant Parmesan, lasagna, sausage and peppers and a variety of homemade soups. If you were sick, a meatball always made you better! Her ultimate love was spending time with her girls shopping and playing board games.
A memorial visitation was scheduled for Wednesday, July 5, at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe.
Memorial contributions may be made to our Father’s Kitchen c/o Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe.
Cremation arrangements are being made by Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
