Patricia Macaulay Silk

    Patricia Macaulay Silk of Manchester, Conn.,and formerly of Blooming Grove, N.Y., passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Oct. 3, surrounded by family. She was 85.
    She was born on Aug. 16, 1932, in Liverpool, England, to Francis Hubert Macaulay II and Nellie Johnson.
    She moved to the U.S. and married the love of her life, Patrick, in 1953.
    She joins her husband Patrick, daughter Sharon and siblings Kathleen, Margaret and Tony in heaven.
    Her kind and loving ways will be missed deeply by all of those that knew her. She leaves behind her daughter Lisa Silk of Manchester, Conn., son Robert Silk and his wife Lena of Monroe, granddaughter Heather and her husband Paul Serignese of Glastonbury, Conn., grandson Michael Lodini of Orlando, Fla., great grandchildren Paul, Patrick, Oliver and Sharon Serignese, and many treasured relatives in the U.K.
    Patricia was especially thankful for the compassionate care that Lisa provided during her illness.
    There is no visitation.
    A grave side service celebrating her life took place Oct. 10 at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen.
