    Marilyn Jung of Chester passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 81 and had been a resident of the area for 50 years.
    Daughter of Frederick J. and Marie Korb Mrotzek, she was born Jan. 16, 1931, in Manhattan.
    Marilyn was a retired typist with Orange County Department of Social Services in Goshen. She was a parishioner of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Monroe, an active member of Retired Seniors Volunteer Program for Orange County and was involved with Encore through SUNY Orange.
    Marilyn was the widow of George Jung.
    Survivors include her son Walter J. Jung of Chester.
    Visitation was scheduled to be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
    A funeral service was scheduled for 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 21 Still Road in Monroe with the Rev. Donald W. Lee officiating.
    Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
