Marie Jones

Marie Jones of Nanuet passed away Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at Northern Manor Geriatric Center in Nanuet. She was 86 years old.
The daughter of Charles and Anna Milinski Babcock, she was born March 23, 1931, in Spring Valley.
Marie was the widow of Herbert Jones.
Survivors include her daughters Rosemary Williams of Nanuet, Cheryl Lamphier of West Nyack and Patricia Arroyo of Beacon; her sons: John (Jack) Jones of Pomona, Timothy Jones of Monroe, Arthur Jones of Sloatsburg and Lawrence Jones of Allentown, Pa.; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Marie was predeceased by her son Charles and her brothers Robert and Carl Babcock.
Visitation was held Nov. 29 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home in Monroe.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 29 at Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
Future interment of cremains will take place in Monroe Cemetery where Marie will be laid to rest alongside her late husband Herbert.
