Marie G. Galzerano
Marie G. Galzerano of South Blooming Grove passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the New York State Veterans Home at Montrose. She was 89 and had been a resident of the area for 50 years.
Daughter of James and Concetta Grizzoffi Fornarotto, she was born July 24, 1922, in Manhattan. Marie was the widow of Raphael M. Galzerano.
Marie was a retired assembly worker with Avon Products, Inc. of Suffern.
Survivors include her daughters Theresa A. Quinn and her husband James of Monroe and Jacqueline Gray and her husband Lenny of San Jose, California; her son James F. Galzerano of the Bronx; and her three grandchildren: Michael, Lenny and Erica Gray.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 10, at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Washingtonville.
